All courses include use of all equipment. At First Coast Scuba Diving, we pride ourselves on using top of the line rental gear including all weight integrated BC's, high performance regulators. All students use dive computers!
Introduction to Scuba Diving
This is a one-hour Pre-Evaluation Program for Scuba Diving to screen students before taking the Basic Certification Course. The student will have the opportunity to self-evaluate with private instruction before committing to the full two-day certification program. The cost is only $100.00pp which includes private instruction, all equipment rental, and pool rental.
NAUI Open-Water Diver Certificate
3-Step Beginner’s Scuba Certification:
- Step 1 - Academics: NAUI’s award winning eLearning guides you thru mastering the fundamentals of SCUBA diving, at home, at your own pace.
- Step 2 - Academic Review and Pool Sessions: After passing the home study, get your fins wet in an indoor heated pool! Learn to use SCUBA equipment and practice the skills required for safe diving while experiencing the fun & excitement of the underwater world.
- Step 3 - Certification Dive Trip: Use your new pool skills on 4 fun dives in the Florida Springs (over 2 days) to earn your LIFETIME certificate! Costs $450 per person.
- This is done in a small group setting. Max 4 students.
Nitrox Special
Take any course with First Coast Scuba Diving and add the Nitrox Certification Course for only $125.00 more. This includes all classroom material. Get the most out of any dive and learn how to stay down longer. Earn two NAUI certifications in one weekend!
Private Lessons / Hesitant Diver
If you feel your lack of swimming technique would hold you back, private lessons are the answer. Private lessons with First Coast Scuba Diving gives you more time, without pressure, to become a more proficient and powerful swimmer. • All equipment is provided. • $900.00 per person • $750.00 per person for two-person private instruction • All-inclusive / flexible scheduling
Advanced Open-Water Diver Course
$385.00 (plus dives and Air Fills or Nitrox Fills) The Advanced Course is what we call the "Real" diving course. Here, you will complete a total of 5 to 6 adventure dives ranging from wreck diving to night diving. This is a hands-on course that usually can be completed in one weekend!
D.A.N. Courses
The D.A.N. Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries course teaches you how to administer life-saving oxygen first aid to divers who may be suffering from decompression illness (DCI). Additionally, this course will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of decompression illness and respond to them accordingly. Course Selection: Basic Life Support - $150.00pp Oxygen Provider - $150.00pp Diving First Aid for the Professional Diver - $250.00pp
